Dr. Nicole Y. Culliver is a skilled and accomplished early childhood education leader with over 30 years of experience. Her hands-on experience in varied early learning settings has been the foundation for her staunch advocacy for children and families. Dr. Nicole Y. Culliver has the honor of preparing future Early Childhood teachers to enter the field as an Early Childhood Instructor for the East Cleveland City School District in Ohio. She has written several articles that push for justice in Early Childhood. More recently, she has been selected as a distingushed Hunt Institute Early Learning National Policy Fellow and an esteemed  Fulbright Hays Scholar  where she will study in Tanzania on best practices and creative ways to combat climate issues. She expects that the knowledge she has gained will help U.S. students and communities gain an international look at ways to solve climate issues. Her passion and research resides in race, gender, socialization, and self-esteem. This serves as her foundation for political and social justice.
